The cost is $160 per couple for lodging, food, supplies, etc. During the retreat, couples will learn their strength and growth areas, learn skills, and foster insights for healthy relationships.
This Retreat is only available for a husband and wife who are married. Engaged or cohabitating couples are invited to partake in FOCCUS, a premarital mentoring program that can help you prepare for marriage and discern if marriage is the next step for your relationship. You do not have to attend HPCC to participate in FOCCUS or the Retreat.
Couples check in at 5pm (directions will come in a later email and you will drive yourself) and dinner will be provided by our leadership team at 6pm. The retreat ends on Sunday around one, after each couple cleans their bedroom and we eat lunch together.
All meals, drinks, and snacks will be provided.
We do our best to accommodate people’s food allergies. Please let us know as soon as you register so we can plan the menu in light of your needs.
There is a maximum of nine couples participating and a handful of other couples and individuals supporting the retreat through prayer, support, cooking, and teaching. There will be fun, delicious meals eaten as a group, games, teaching times, times for couples, personal reflection and practice, free time, and worship on Sunday morning. These retreats are laid-back, full of laughter, faith, and learning. They are friendly to both husbands and wives. No one is pressured to share publicly.
