We want a generation to grow up holding onto a faith that is rooted in God’s Word.
The greatest calling of the church and the home is to lead our sons and daughters into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our weekly environment created especially for your infants (six weeks) through preschool-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for them!
We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. So, you can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience. Be on the lookout for fun crafts and big games. We look forward to helping your preschoolers learn more about God.
At HP Kidz, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
Our focus is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last. That's why it's important to make sure your child connects with the same friends and same leader at the same hour—EVERY SUNDAY! Programming is available during the 9:00 a.m., and 10:45 am services.
At TeamKid kids refuel their faith with high-energy praise music, creative Bible lessons, small-group and whole-group fellowship, scripture memorization, prayer, and fun and games through TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship). It's a time for them to get a midweek fill-up of Christ's love. All parts of TeamKID bible stories, Scripture memory, life-application, missions, and recreation- connect to teach life lessons to kids. Join us Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45.
If it’s your first time parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes before service to have adequate time to check-in their child(ren). Fill out a guest information form in the kidz ministry lobby and get a name badge for your child(ren). Keep the security code portion of the name tag required to pick-up your child(ren) at the end of the service. After your first vist, your child(ren) will be added to the classroom roster and you will be able to print your child(ren)'s name tag each week from the Kidz Ministry computers by entering your last name or home phone number.
Each week when you arrive, check-in your child(ren) using any of the Kidz Ministry kiosks. In order to help us ensure safe drop-off and pick-up of all children, it is important that children wear their name tags. The safety of your child(ren) is a priority, therefore we do not allow anyone without the security code portion of the name tags to pick up a child. If we need to contact you during the service, the security code on the tag will appear on the digital signs located by the projection screens in the sanctuary and atrium.
Please promptly pick up your child(ren) after service. Check in with your child’s small group leader, present your security tag to ensure your child(ren) is signed out to you safely.
We know that for families with a special needs child, one of the biggest challenges is finding time to nurture your own faith. At Highland, we want to come alongside families and all of their children, recognizing that every child is created in God’s image with a special purpose and plan for his/her life.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
— Ephesians 2:10
When you plan your visit, we'll save you a seat and do everything in our power to make your experience at Highland Park Community Church great.
